Disabled keyboard issue -- unwanted deletions
I have lost hand sensitivity to a traumatic brain injury. I keep losing the text I am working on, meaning all the text I have typed disappears completely from the dialog box, replaced by the last few characters I typed. I think what is happening is that I accidentally type Ctrl-A, highlighting all text, and then replace that text with the next few characters I type. Sometimes I can get it back with an Undo, but what I would really like is to avoid this completely.
Is there a way to totally disable all Ctrl, Alt, and Shift-Function keys in Vista? I cannot find it in Windows help. Thanks!
