Software for fractals
A great program for creating art using fractals is UltraFractal.
You can make gorgeous images with this program. It does not use photos, it uses formulas that you can change in thousands of ways, in a computer generated image.
The link to the Fractal art program is here:
http://www.ultrafractal.com/
Made by Frederik Slijkerman.
The program is free for 30 days.
The minimum amount of memory (RAM) you need is 16 MB, but if you want to create large images or use a lot of layers, you need more (32 MB or 64 MB).
Hope you enjoy it! <p>

Hi Paulette,

I've not really had the pleasure of meeting you yet... seems like a couple of months have passed us by now and for reasons just out of my control... I keep just missing you in here.

I came in here and read this thread about 30 minutes after you posted, I looked at the link and read another 30 minutes.... I really like all that I have about this program and the approach in using it as well as the concept.

....Strange as it may seem something came up just as I started to reply in here and once again, I failed to post while you happened to still be in here. Once again, I thought... ....Bummer

I made a point now to 'no matter what' post to this thread, I just have and I feel lots better for it
of course I have yet to actually push the "Submit Reply" button to actually post this, but I am eager to do so before some 'other' thing comes up once again.

Thanks for the info, we'll see you on campus.
DS

Hello Dark Star,
So nice to read your message, I am on campus several times a day now so we should "bump into each other" eventually!
Nice to see you like the software.
