WinAmp 2.79 loaded with spyware
I downloaded WinAmp 2.79 last week and then ran Ad-Aware. It found 172 components! AUGHHHHH.

Shame on you, WinAmp.

Were they all in winamp?
When I ran adaware on one comp, something horrible happened somewhere between the mouse and the internet and it didn't work since. On the other comp, my HP deskjet 840 stopped working(although that time I made a backup of the "ads" it takes off, and when I ran them, the printer was fine) This could mean some adware in HP drivers???

Other contributors to this thread showed me that ad-aware itself was responsible for most of the components it found. WinAmp was not to blame. Ad-aware was erroneously identifying duplicate registry entries plus cscore.dll, a Norton file, as spyware.
