Serial Number Location
I'm wanting to move Dreamweaver to a new computer, but can't find the serial number that was entered. Is there a way of locating this on my machine? Would it be held in the registry anywhere?

Belarc might be able to pull the key out from your existing install.

I've tried Belarc, and it's not on there.

If you registered the package, you can probably get it from the publisher.

Trouble is, I didn't - it was already on the computer when I got it!

If it was already on the computer, chances are it may not be a legal copy.

Either what JohnWill said or it is OEM and in that case you can not move it the other computer without violating the OEM EULA.

You can't move it to another computer if you don't have the installation disks. The serial number or key wouldn't help much anyway. And I seriously doubt someone threw in a legal copy of a $400 application with a pre-owned computer. It's either an illegal copy or is already registered on the previous owner's new computer.

Dreamweaver encrypts the key, so it would take special software to decrypt it.
