Question Mouse Scrolling
Before reformatting and installing Windows 98 Second Edition, I was able to scroll with the Intellimouse flywheel a page up and page down with a single rotate. Since reinstallation I can only scroll small increments on the viewing screen.
I cannot remember where I made the previous adjustment to allow greater increments for scrolling. Point me in the right direction.
Looking under buttons under mouse in Control Panel does not give me any options. Don't know where else to look.
Suggestions???

Thanks,

Hiya davidrs! and Welcome to TSG!

Control panel / Mouse didn't work??
See if you have this folder...

Click on"Start, then programs, Microsoft Hardware, Mouse, then on Intellipoint.
Look for the "Wheel" tab.
From there you can adjust the scroll rate.

that is if you loaded the program. Havent used the intellimouse, my logitech came with a cd to load full functions on, still works fine with normal windows drivers but with less options. Did it come with a cd/floppy? If it did, put them back on

Hi cwolfe98,

Thanks for the welcome.
I do not have Microsoft Hardware in Programs. I have the same windows 98 as I did before and I did change the settings for the wheel. That was over a year ago and I just cannot remember where I found it. I know it's there. I will find it--just a matter of time.
Any suggestions?

Dave

Dave,
This might help out......
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouse/download.asp

Not sure where else to look in your PC. However, download the Intellimouse program again, then you should be scrolling again!

TweakUI (mouse tab) has an option to scroll for a page at a time or a selected number of lines.

If you don't have it you can get it here and other places:
