Don't know precisely what you are talking about, but I would recomend AbiWord. Go to abisource.com and you can download it. It is an open code sourse program, that does a whole lot taking up little space, saves in MS (ewww) word format and has compatability on different platforms and different languages.

If you'd like a FREE full-featured, powerful office suite , try Sun's StarOffice 5.2:
