Cool Folder View Permanent
Can anyone tell me how to get the Folder View to open whenever I open a folder? So far I have gone into My Documents, changed the view to Folders, then Tools>Folder Options>View Tab and clicked on Apply to All Folders. Nothing changes. All folders open in one viewing window. No tree on the left and viewing window on the right

Create a new shortcut that is Explorer /e

Or modify the shortcut you're using and put the /e after Explorer. Here are some other ways to customize Explorer:
