Solved: USB keyboards
I just built a new system but have to use a USB supported keyboard.
I bought an adapter for the keyboard but the system won't work with it.
Are there any drivers I can download that will make this keyboard compatable?
I'm running Win Vista Premium with an AMD Socket AM2, AMD 64 Athlon MB.
Virual Dual Bios. Has one PS/2 port for the mouse.

So have you got a PS/2 to usb adapter fitted that is plugged in to the usb socket? windows should of course recognize the keyboard if you have, but supposing it doesn't will other things work from that usb socket? just to rule out its not the socket thats faulty ... what keyboard is it by the way?

If there IS a PS2 socket AND it works for a mouse there is a VERY good chance that you can get a Y splitter cable for the PS2 socket and plug both in there.
Most systems with only one PS2 port support a splitter - I've got several lying around.
Here's one going cheap http://cgi.ebay.com/Single-PS%2F2-to...212129005r5727
