How to find documents uploaded on forums
Hi everyone. This is my first post here =). A few months back, I downloaded some pdf files from a forum. It was until a few days later that I opened them up (due to boredom) and discovered they are actually pretty useful to me. I then decided to go back and find the site to see if there are other files relevant to me. However, even if I typed the entire title into the search engine (with " ") or took out some selected parts and run them in the search engine, the SE does not seem to know where the document is from. I do remember that the forum requires registration before you can view anything (registration is free though, thats how I got the documents) So anyone able to help me out?

This is a few months back so I assume that the history is gone (and of course I sometime clear my temp data to free some space), so that is not an option for me. =)

OK if you had to register at the site then you got a cookie. So look at your cookies and that may help.
Also did you have you password manager remember the password? If so look at your saved password in the password manager.

If you posted at the forum then you can do a search also on your user name at google and that may help.
