That link was in my signature for ages. It is a great site if you want to see if a bit of software you want to download has any additional bits of spyware, or adware attached to it.

A must use for anyone who likes to download things!

I've also kept that Spychecker site in my Favs and have used it a couple of times. Out of curiosity just now, I typed in "Kazza" (knowing full well it's chockfull of spyware), and it said "We did not find any matches for that software in the Spychecker database." I've used it two times to check software I was downloading, both times it said the same thing, no matches in their database, and I was reassured. But if it says Kazza isn't in their database, how can I trust it?

Because you spelt Kazaa incorrectly

I run adaware on a regular basis. It will check your system for spyware and then delete the suspected files.

www.lavasoftusa.com for more info

and for the download

Yes, you're absolutely right. When spelled correctly, it returned positive for all the spyware we know it has. That's a weird name anyway. That's the first time I've seen a positive result, my other things said no spyware, so this was a good little test. Now I'll trust it!!
