My internet desktop icons sometimes won't work-I have to "click" the icon five or more times for it to activate the website.Dose anyone know how to correct this?

Hobdy...

If you have IE 5.5 or better try going to add/remove programs in the control panel find "MS IE and Internet tools" highlight it click on add/remove and in the next screen select Repair Internet Explorer.

You can also try launching IE from the Quick Launch toolbar in the lower left part of your screen by the Start button....

Good luck

Check your mouse properties and see if the double-click speed is set to your liking. You might also try to RIGHT-click the desktop icon once, then LEFT-click Open.
