I have not yet bought an adapter, but was wondering what I can do with it. I have a Blackberrry Pearl and was wondering if I can bluetooth picture files from the Pearl to my laptop. So far, the only way I have figured out to do that is to email them to myself as an attachment.

The "adapter" would be internal. | | Member with 38 posts. | | Join Date: Dec 2000 Location: Lawrenceville, GA USA | | So I just need to try to connect my Blackberry to my Laptop? I paired my Bluetooth ear device successfully. | | Distinguished Member with 12,620 posts. | | Join Date: Dec 2004 Experience: A little of this...a little of that | | The ability to connect a cell phone to a computer and the features available with that functionality are specific to the combination of device and carrier. Look for a manual specific to that combination, and you'll find information about making a Bluetooth connection with a computer if it's possible. | | Distinguished Member with 2,770 posts. | | Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Nebraska Experience: Intermediate | | I haven't tried with bluetooth, but I use a data cable and d/l pictures to the computer, keep phone number list on computer incase something happens to the phone. I even use it as a modem sometimes, when we are travelling. Have done this for several years. It is SLOW, but better than going to a library, or internet cafe.

I used a cable, and it worked fine. | | Member with 38 posts. | | Join Date: Dec 2000 Location: Lawrenceville, GA USA | | Thanks, guys. I can now get the phone to recognize the computer blootooth but still can't connect because the blackberry is asking for a numerical passkey and nothing on my compter gives me a passkey. I even called my helpless desk and they tied into my laptop and said it was Verizon's problem. Verizon says it's Lenova's problem. I know there's an answer out ther but don't have it yet. | | Distinguished Member with 14,212 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2001 Location: Republic of Texas Experience: Advanced | | Try entring 0000 (all zero's) when asked for the passkey - this is pass key for the various bluetooth ear phones I've had. | THIS THREAD HAS EXPIRED.
