After all, at book sales, the books I want are all still there when the price goes down on the last days. | | Junior Member with 4 posts. | | | | | | | Senior Member with 105 posts. | | Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: east coast Experience: Beginner | | Hey
I started watching a random lecture when I suddenly realized.... OMG it’s my summer vacation so I quickly turned it off and went to the beach instead
but seriously there are some pretty interesting lectures there, hope you enjoy.

Amber | Hi Amber,
Thanks for the thread. I think listening to the lectures is a good idea - if one has the time and wants an in-depth treatment of the topic.
The way I keep up with all that is going on is:
1) Subscribing to the daily (free) email newsletter from Physorg.com (which reviews breaking news in nanotechnology, physics, space & earth, electronics, technology, chemistry, biology, medicine & health, other sciences), and
2) RSS feeds - I have over 100 and counting in many of the categories of the lectures (it takes about a minute or so for my browser to refresh the RSS feeds when I launch it)

-- Tom | Science Daily has a good newsletter, too, and once you get to their site to read an article, you can easily spend the rest of the day following links to subject areas of interest. | THIS THREAD HAS EXPIRED.
