Right, though I gave in and installed IE8. Since I use FF 99% of the time, I don't really care what version of IE is loaded.

I must be in the Stone Age. Quite happy with IE6 for when I use IE.
Opera is my browser of choice.

You have the option of express or custom install. If you select custom install, you can still refuse to d/l IE8.

I always use custom install. What aggravated me was the fact that after I chose "don't show me this again" weeks later it pops up again as a critical update just as if I had never marked it out.

I had the IE 8 blocker installed but that was short lived because it's a update again but I am not getting it now.

I had been dragging my feet on installing the IE8 but about 10 days ago, decided to try it on one of our computers. So far have had no problems with it.

IE8 works, and it's more trouble to refuse it than to simply install it and ignore it.

I had it before but took it off and then was told not to reinstall it but I think it also made the PC run better and it says...It may help windows run better too I see today but can't see that looking now. I think it was when I picked all but IE8 and get to the next step and it listed IE8 and said reasons I need it etc below.
