There are plenty of bugs in those platforms too. Just because the Mac cheering section claims it's perfect, it's not. Same goes for Linux.

So what about this now.
simple. Learn to save your compiled pages with a better hierarchal system. I've never ONCE had to use the octothorpe as a file name, and quite frankly, can't even devise a reason to.

Page_2
Index_frame

etc

You want to use the octothorpe and pound the square peg in the round hole, knock yourself out.

but consider this; I assume you drive a car. When you are doing 80 down the freeway, you going to slam it into first? Of course not. It's not built for that

Every now and again, you actually have to conform to the makers of the products specifications.

In fact Microsoft as really done a very good job in Windows 7. I really love it. But I'm not convinced with Vista, because it's hungry on resources. What I said about .chm is a just a bug, I guess. It's true that anything can't be perfect. But I & lots of would love Windows even more if it were lot more towards perfect.
Without knowing the .chm bug, I have deleted couple of ebooks in .chm format named with a # char, thinking the file is corrupted. Think, will anybody guess the name as the culprit in 1st place. After knowing the issue, think of the frustration I would have experienced.
Anyway I could retrieve the files back. These day I'm working lot on Windows 7, and generally what I find is, it's pretty much advanced than its predecessors.
