IE TIP about:
In IE if you type about:<html code> and hit enter it shows the page for that code. Its great for previewing your work or, if used carefully makes for great pranks. About: in Netscape shows Help, About from the file menu.

If you take some HTML code you can preview it in IE by typing
about: and then the html code
in the address bar and hit enter.

Address Bar
Thanks that will save me from using my HTML test bed.

Also try these:

Set your address bar to MSN default and type ?+ MS Knowledge Base Number and it will go right to the article.

You can type a word in the Address bar and press CTRL+ENTER to automatically add http://www. and .com on either side of the word.

To search from the Address bar, type go, find, or ? followed by a word or phrase, and then press ENTER.

In IE6 you dont have to type go or find for it to search. Just type a search term that isn't a valid URL and it searches for it.

I just found out that about:html doesnt work in IE6, but about:blank still does. I also found out the About: URL was designed as a way for advertisers to track how many pop-ups you have been served, how many clicked etc.
