Wink DzSoft Favorite Search
Once you've been on the web for a while, you'll have tons of useful or interesting websites saved in your Favorites folder. After a while you'll need to sort these into other sub folders to keep track of them.

However, this makes them harder to find when you're in a hurry. DzSoft's Favourite Search allows you to search a site you have saved in your Favorites list.

You need Internet Explorer 5 or higher. Download it

joe2cool...

Thanks for the link ... I've been looking for the best freebie "favorites manager" I can get now for a while and there's so many choices out there I just dont know mate.

I just hate tryin all kinds of different ones out not really knowing how many I might need to try out before I settle on one ... I guess that you've found this one that you now use to be pretty good. I have a question for you .... is it user friendly (I hate lights bells and whistles) I dont need a bunch of stuff that will just add to the confusion in finding the bookmarked link if you know what I mean.

These are some of the ones I been considering ... http://download.com.com/3150-2370-0.html?tag=dir

Maybe someone else in here uses some "favorites manager" that they like and will post in here.

Thanks again ...

DS

Wink Hi !!!
Hi ! Darkstar how ru ?

Well I 've only downloaded it today seems straight forward 'no whistles or bells' for finding particular sites you want, also a'LAST Found items' folder is also added to your Favorites, to save the searches you perform in case you have trouble finding the same site again.

Also you can add a button to the main Internet Explorer toolbar to launch it with a single click.

Wink SOMETHING ELSE TO CONSIDER ??
Hi ! there found this not checked out properly :

To stop following dead or misleading links there's ''GIRAFA" which creates thumbnail picture of each site that comes up in the search results, so you can see if it meets your needs.

Download Here & you'll need Internet Explorer 4 or higher.

A little follow-up.

I began using DzSoft today with IE6. Worked pretty well, except I found that I had to put the name of what I was looking for exactly the way I have it saved in My Favorites. In other words, it did not seem to do sound alikes. Am I correct?

Also, I am running XP home (specs below) and I began getting the "Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down" message when I closed my browser. I decided to uninstall it until I do a bit more research.

Too bad, my Favorites is so full that's it's almost easier to just do a browser search for what I need, rather than eye ball the VERY long list.
