Changing Email Defaults
Hi,
I use Win98SE. I installed Microsoft Office 2000 and accidently made Microsoft Outlook my default email. I had been using Outlook Express for mail.
How do I make Express my default? I prefer Outlook Express.
Thanks,
davidrs

While in Internet Explorer, under "Tools">"Internet Options">the "Programs" tab change the e-mail option to the desired program.

davidrs,

wedor's sugggestion will set what program you want to open when you click on the email icon on the toolbar.

If what you want is for OE to open when you click on an email hyperlink then, open OE and go to Tools > Options > General. Click the "Make Default" button at the bottom.

too technical guys...here's the simplest method...just launch the client you want to be the default...it will be a very insecure puppy, and it will ask you very nicely if you'd like to make it the default mail client, just tell it "yes, and thank you for asking"
