Thumbs up Keyboard Shortcuts - IE
This is for people like me who are sick and tired about being "Mouse Locked". I like the fact that I can navigate without always having to use my mouse all the time.

You can navigate "Back" and "Forward" with web pages by using the "ALT" key in combination with the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard. Press and hold alt key then press arrow keys.

If you want to go forward use the "ALT" and "Right" arrow key combination.

If you want to go back use the "ALT"/"Left" aroow key combination.

You can also use the Help section of IE to see a complete list of Internet Explorer shortcuts. Click on "Help", then "Contents and Index", then select the Index tab and type in "keyboard shortcuts".

Here's a link for some other keyboard shortcuts...

More to follow...

pakiya -

If you're looking for opera-type "mouse gestures" with IE, you can get them (along with MDI and popup filters) in an overlay for IE called MYIE.
You can download it from:
http://www.webattack.com/get/myiebrowser.shtml
(tiny download, as it just puts a more useable face on your existing IE installation.)

I had a lot of trouble with this...at first, I loved it, but it started getting buggy, would not remember my settings, annd started to take forever to find sites.

also, if you right click anywhere in a web page, you'll see it's installed a coupla things behind your back.

then, one day, it wouldn't load pages at all, and my cpu was 100%...even after reboot...I ununstalled, did a registry go back, and everything turned smoothe.

I'm not sure thids browser had anything to do with all of this, but I thought I'd mention it...anyone else have similar problems?
