Here´s a little tip, a program called Command Creator.

It will help you create run-commands for use in the Start Menu´s Run dialog. The commands can launch whatever you want them to launch.

The launch itself is handled by the operating system which makes it quite fast.

It also contains a shell enhancement that gives you fast access to your favorite folders in Common Open/Save -dialogs, the desktop and in Explorer.
