Stalker Online Wont Work
Hi all,
I'm new to the whole forum thng, so I hope it aint too bad.

I have been playing stalker now for around a week. What an addictive game! The only problem is when I have tried playing online, I try connecting to the server, and then noting happens. I uninstalled and then tried again, to no avail. I went and down loaded the patch to make it vs1.005. This still has no affect. So I tried Ctrl Alt + Del and when task manager came up I am told Stalker is not responding.

The game itself works brilliantly this is the only problem I hae. I am a big fan of online gaming, and since converting from the old console (sorry for using the C word) I would never go back. So you can imagine how gutted I am!

I am using Vista, with a 2.4Ghz dual core(AMD)(I find AMD better for gaming) Ive got 4Ghz of Ram and am running an ATI X1950 pro 512 g/card.

The only thing I can think of doing is uninstalling and telling Vista to act as if it was XP SP2 for when it is doing Stalker. Dont want to do this though if it will make no difference as its not the quickest game to reinstall.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
