Book Game
This could be interesting!

Okay… here are the instructions:
1. Pick up the nearest book ( of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.

At IBM, the two became close colleagues with common interests. "I started more or less as his mentor," remembered Landauer. "Eventually, the relationship inverted, and he became the intellectual leader."

They had said nothing to Jack, but it was his graduation. Quinn had gotten a diploma for him and filled it out carefully with his name and the date, and had referred to him as a successful scholar. It took Jack only a moment to realize what was happening, and he was moved to tears when, at the end of dinner, Quinn handed him his diploma.

"Dennis opens the car door. What they're all doing is giving their customers a symbolic hug."
"Deliver that kind of hug witheverything else you've learned and you'll create Raving Fans for sure," said Andrew.

It is full of unfamiliar words, passages packed with mystery, and he loves it. He is sitting at his desk in front of the window, watching the afternoon sun as it slips behind the rooftops. He will have to stop soon: the little kids will be coming out of their house to trick or treat before it gets dark.

Tears stung my eyes. I murmured my condolences to Sheila's mother, and she thanked me. I wanted to reach out to her, to offer some kind of comfort.

"Mill camber in beams of less depth than tabulated should not be specified. A single minimum value for camber, within the ranges shown above for the length ordered, should be specified. Camber is measured at the mill and will not necessarily be present in the same amount in the section of beam as received due to release of stress induced during the cambering operation."

(Boring, eh? The only book I have nearby is my AISC/ASD Manual of Steel Construction, Eighth Edition. It's like my "steel design bible"!)
