I don't know much about computers at all but recently have had to get some knowledge and lots from here! My Compaq V6000 went mad on thursaday and lost its wireless connection, and yes displays an orange light instead of blue. Thried the advice given on the old thread. Chatted live to HP dest and followed their advice about bios!! not sure what that is either. Seems I have tried to do the things and nothing happening. Would really apprecieate any help advice other than hitting it with a hammer and binning it. It's about 18 months old. IE 8 beta went mad too so installed older version 7 and then it all went wrong after it updated!!!
Based in london and failing help i guess i have to revert back to the old ways of writing letters and making phone calls and leaving my house to see people lol.
