Question Linux and NTFS
hey guys and gals,

i have i question for you all, is the a distro of linux that can see read and write to windows ntfs, i'm sure there has to be some where.

at the moment i am using windows 2000 advanced server and redhat 8.

Pls help.

You can read but writing is experimental-at least for dual-booting.A samba network can do that,I think.

Cool NTFS
Hi Guys,

Im running SuSe Linux 8.00 which can read NTFS but cant write to it. Im still looking for a program which will let me write aswell. Im dual booting with Win XP.

i have just found i program that has helped me alot, its called LinNeighborhood-0.6.2.glibc-i386.tar.gz. it uses samba to mount NTSF drives and it even writes to the drives its a great program, and it can be used in the gui or at the prompt.
