Can anyone help me in installing Redhat 8?
I have a Compaq computer 2 years old. When I start install redhat 8.0, my keyboard stops working after I pressed enter key in the very beginning boot: prompt. Redhat doesn't seem to recognize my keyboard. Therefore, it is impossible for me to install redhat without keyboard. Does anybody know what could possibly be wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's a USB keyboard and the computer is Compaq.

Well, what you have here is the ultimate reason why they should not make usb keyboards. How can you install a system if the system does not have usb support built in.

The solution is to use a non-usb keyboard to install. I would suggest you just get a ps2 one and throw the usb one away.

That's too unfortunate if that's the only option I have. My keyboard is still a pretty new one.
