changing bios
hi,
i would like to install linux from a cd,
how do i change the boot order to boot from the CD
i am running windows ME

It depends on what computer/motherboard/bios but usually restarting the computer and hitting the del key after the POST beep will get you into the bios.On some computer/motherboard/bios it could be F1 or F2.
If you look closely while the 1st screen appears after restart ,hit the pause key and it should say somewhere on the screen how to enter setup.Hit the pause key again and hit whatever key it is to open setup.On some comps you get a splash screen:if you get a splash screen,hit esc to see the boot screen.
