linux is totally free and way more customizable, as its open source, the only downside is that some retail programs wont work under linux, i would vote for linux though

My standard reply is here: http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?threadid=72508

The short answer is "yes -- Linux is better -- but it may not be better for you".

Smile linux/Windows
Hi,

Im dual booting win xp and SuSe Linux, plus i run Redhat on a laptop. I find Linux more fun to use and if you buy a Linux distro boxset, it comes complete with just about any program you can ever need. I havent tried downloading it off the net yet, as my connection is too slow.

you could try Dual-Booting and get the best of both worlds.

Hi lynch, thanks for the linux games link.

Regards

Khayman.
