Unhappy Wireless USB adapter help
I have two adapters, one is a linksys USB wireless adapter.
I am brand new at Linux and have just dual booted RH linux 9 with windows.
What do I do to get the wireless working and where is a good place to start leaning Linux?

Thanks

I think you may be out of luck trying to get the wireless adapter to run on Red Hat. I had adapter WUB11 ver 2.6, and the last time I checked (about two months ago), Linksys wasn't supporting Linux for this.

Try looking for it here:

http://www.linksys.com/download/

Find the adapter type in the product drop-down, and choose "other" for the OS. Maybe they've updated by now.

Go to a bookstore and look for a book on Red Hat 9 in the computer section. I know the "Dummies" series has a book for RH 8 (I have it!). Also, keep reading posts on this forum, and try this one too:

I'm learning, too. Good luck!
