Mandrake will not boot 99 99 99 99 etc
Mandrake will not boot. I boot from a Mandrake floppy - and all I get is 99 99 99 99 99 on and on. Is there a way out of this or would I have to reinstall ?

If you boot from the 1st Mandrake CD thereshould be a rescue option to repair Lilo.Hit F1 and then type rescue. You'll see a text menu of things you can do.You can restore lilo and put it in the master boot record.
If you'd rather boot from a floppy, you can let the CD run till you get the option to boot an existing installation. You should be able boot into Mandrake and enter the Mandrake Control Center and create another boot floppy.
