On my dual boot WinXP/RHL8.0 I use Norton Ghost to put my windows on CD the way I want it , what would be a good program to do it on the Linux partitions ? Or is there perhaps something that will ghost the whole disk.

Thanks lynch, I had a look at the site , but it looks very complicated to a newbie like me , so I googled and came up with Mondo Rescue which to me looks a bit easier to install .

I did try it .
When I 1st tried to install Mondo,it said I needed Mindi and afio .So I went back and got them and everything installed fine.I used the latest stable RPMs for Mandrake 9.1.
Tried starting the program as root by typing mondo and got the "command not found"message
Tried running Mindi just to see what would happen(I know some will be shocked by my haphazard way of dealing with testing softwaremore on this later. )and it started up and asked if I wanted to make boot disks.There are 4 for my system.It couldnt make 1440KB or 1772KB disks but said :
2880KB boot disk was created OK
MINDI_VERSION is 0.86
Fatal error. Cannot format boot disk - is your Linux distro broken?
Might have been because I didnt mount the floppy .
Ok.This is where I looked at the manual and found the right command:
mondoarchive
The menu screen appeared in the terminal and it got easier after that.
I just followed the prompts(I told Mondo to put the iso files on the hard drive and burned them later with XCD-Roast) and 2 hours later I had a 2 disk CD backup for my Mandrake box
Oh yeah.Why the ham-fisted approach to testing Mondo?I like to try installing and running any new software I'm testing without reading the manual/instructions/readmes to see just how intuitive they make it.If I get thru it without a problem,then I figure anyone can use it and I'll recommend it without worring if they get it.Of course if the SW is something I need(like say Java)I will be sure to install it as intended.
I havent gotten around to testing the CDs yet.I made the Mindi test CD and it worked fine running the compare option.The fatal error at the end was because the backups were on CD.When I test the 1st boot CD I'll post further details.

I went looking for a afio for RHL8.0 but could only get a tarball afio-2.4.7 version which I cant seem to open properly , is there another version that would be more compatible ?
