Unhappy partition magic help
I'm trying partition my windows xp drive with the free space I had, but keep getting this No Active Partition pop up when I hit the Apply button. I'm using the install another operating system wizard. There is xp already on the drive and I want to dual boot xp and fedora.

Can any body tell by the screen shots if this looks correct?
Maybe i'm missing something.

Partition Magic
I believe you set a partition active after making the changes.

I used that application a few times before I finally threw it out.

They have tech support that is not bad. If you bought the CD then you are entitled to access their support line.

BootIT Next Generation
I use BootIT NG to resize NTFS partitions and it works quite well. All you need to do is download the ISO and burn the image to CD, and then boot from the CD.
