Question Red Hat 9
Okay, I purchased Red Hat 9 for an x86 box. During install, the systems asks for CD2, when I insert CD 2 it complains that is not the correct CD. I cannot complete the install! :-(
Any suggestions or help?
Can I download a fresh copy of Red Hat 9 somewhere?

Quick and dirty answer, yes! Do a search on Google for Lunix RedHat Downloads. I am off to bed, but post back if you have further problems.

BTW welcome to TSG!

www.linuxiso.org is the first place to look.
You say you purchased Redhat 9? Was this the official boxed set or a CD set from a CD reseller? If you bought the boxed set, take it back and exchange it for another. You may have just unluckily gotten a badly stamped CD.If you got the CDs from a CD reseller contact them about what can be done.
If you decide to download the 3 ISO files(1 ISO per CD)be sure to get the md5sums with them to check the integrity of the downloaded ISOs.

Over at linuxquestions.org (better than google for linux stuff) everybody is having the same problem. Seems to be a production problem.
