I have made a firewall, according to some instructions i found on the internet, using iptables and natting which links my windows computer to the internet through a red hat linux 9.0 system. The file wall is called firewall.sh and resides in the sbin directory.

The problem is that when I restart the network/linux box the firewall doesnt start and to start it each time I have to go to the Sbin folder in Command/Terminal mode and type firewall.sh. The instructions I have say that this program should start automatically.

Any help I can get with this issue would be much appreciated as I have tried everything

You can put the command in the /etc/rc.d/rc.local and it should work okay.I would first go and look over the docs you got for any specific instructions for automatic startup.Do you have a link to these instructions you used?
