Linux Version
Hi I am thinking about installing Linux on an old computer just for the Grandkids to use for low level games. I there a very basic version of Linux (small download) that would be appropriate for this purpose? I would like to avoid a multi disk download with the added possibility of errors.

Try Knoppix. You can run it from CD or install to disk. It's one CD either way.Debian-based.

and if you want to install it, its a very easy process as well. Thats the other nice thing about knoppix. Course for a gaming thing, you'll no doubt need something like wine to play them, since i assume that its older windows games.
