i need to find out how to find out my username in mandrake linux 9.2, i installed it, but it gave an error, i restarted with a different cdrom drive, it continued where it left off, but skipped the setting up a user stage, i have no clue what my login name is, or even if i have one, can i fix this without having to reinstall?

With a rescue disk you can. run the adduser script as root from the rescue disk.

If you can logon as root you shouldnt need to run a rescue disk. Did you create a root password during installation?

Thats what that accound is therefore .Just dont use it regularly.
