Where Do Installations Go?
I recently installed amsn messenger 0.92 on Mandrake 9.2 (having had version 0.9 on a previous mandrake install), but I cannot find where it has installed to. A search for *amsn* finds only the rpm and other bits I downloaded, where is it?

At the command prompt, type:
whereis amsn
It's probably in /usr/bin or /usr/x11/bin
