Mandrake 10 Networking through a router
Like the thread title says, I'm looking for a guide to network two computers running Mandrake 10 Official through my router. Thanks.

We need to know what router you have and how do you access it's setup utility.
Neon, I think he said Mandrake 10.

The router is an SMC 7004 VBR 4 port Router.

Not sure about the setup utility. Please advise.

Both computers dual-boot Mandrake10/XP PRO, but I'm only interested in connectivity between the two Linux installations. The file transfers I'll be doing between the two computers will only be with the Mandrake installs.

Well he answered it in the last post, but i wanted to know what he was connecting too, not what he was using since he already said mandrake 10.

PS in the case of networking linux, I can handle the networking and the hardware stuff, but if it involves messing around with linux its best left to lynch or whiteskin or someone.
