email help
i have a dual boot win98 and slackware 8.1 based system and i want to configer it so that the email can be checked but the emails will also arive in windows i have never done much with email before but have used cli a lot

Well I would suggest using imap for your email if possible. This will allow you to get the same email/folders anywhere.

If you use pop just make sure you check the box "leave message on server" in the settings on each email client.

You need a mail client. Unlike windows, the mail settings in slack are for the built in mail server, that delivers mail to local users.
