Hi. I had the Linux red hat 6.0 installed on my machine and some how I had the GNOME booting. Then last night I reinstalled the red hat and now I don't know how to get the GNOME OR KDE back. It seems like the first time it asked me if I wanted the LINUX to boot with the GNOME OR KDE. at present I only get to the TERMINAL. I can't get to any graphical interface. I appreciate your help. thank you LS

If you type:

startx

at the console that should bring it up for you.

Cheers.

You may want to run "Xconfigurator" before typing startx to double check all your configurations and settings for X.

Make sure you know the specs of your monitor and your video card.
