Greetings. Running Mandrake 7.0 with KDE on the desktop. Mt root account allows changes to be made to the desktop (icon size, background, color scheme). However, when I switch to my user account, I find that my icon choice (small) and color scheme are not being implemented. I can change sounds and backgrounds okay. A minor (very) issue yet I find it annoying. What gives, oh great gurus?
