I am having a performance problem with apache.
The problem is that sometimes a webpage will hang in
the middle of downloading. For instance the following
command:

time wget -p localhost/test2.html

Sometimes exits in a matter of seconds and sometimes
takes 30-40 seconds.

ok, i fixed the problem by installing from source.
