Linux .bin / .que
Hello all,
I am starting to get into Linux. I downloaded a copy of it, but it is 2 files. One is a .bin file and the other is a .que file. Anyone know what software I need to burn this. I've tried Nero6.6.0.6 and Alcohol120, but they will not accept it as an image file.
Can I just burn this as data, or will I just be wasting a disk?

That would be wasting a disc, and both Nero and Alcohol 120 can burn bin/cue files. Which of the files have you been trying to open as an image?

What distro did you download and where did you download it? P2P?

I find it odd that it is bin format. Usually Linux distros are in iso format. Maybe someone made a personal copy and posted that. I would download a fresh copy from the distro of your choice from it's web site so you can check the MD5 checksum before burning.

Nevermind. I gave up and found an .iso file. Thanks anyway!
