How to see realtime cpu load? FC1
Hey guys,
I've had a good scout on the net but have as yet failed to find a solution.
Any idea how I can see a realtime cpu load on fedora core 1. I'm a strictly terminal only geeza as my linux box is older than the hills and is incapable of running a graphical environment.

ideas?

Well there's one of two things i can think of that possibly do one of the two possible meanings you have for cpu load.

One is top. It'll show you user, sys and real in realtime

The other is current cpu frequency at the current time. I do this one of two ways (since i use cpufreq to save power on the laptop) I have a tool called x86info http://sourceforge.net/projects/x86info/ which gives out a nice bit of info about the processor plus 700MHz processor (estimate).
