Can anyone give me any information about imaging drives in Linux? I'm running Hoary dist of Ubuntu. Is imaging in Linux just like imaging in Windows? Can I setup a program to image the entire hard drive, and how easy is it?

DAR is probably the best out there for imaging. you can use it with a nice front end script called sarab Http://sarab.sf.net that will perform the backup of what you want and only what you want. As well you can do grandfather father son etc type backups
