SUSE 9.3 and Linksys WUSB54G
Hi Eveybody..TIA for any help...I'm running a dual boot XP/SUSE 9.3 Pro system..Just installed a Linksys WUSB54G wifi..XP liked it fine right out of the box..Linux, however, is not happy...Didn't find it.. I trashed the copy of ndiswrapper that came with it. Dl'd the latest version from sourceforge..Installed it. Ran it...Here's the problem.. If I run modprobe, it finds the installed drivers and the hardware...It, however, does not find the device wlan0..I've set it up through YAST but it still doesn't find the device..

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

SUSE 9.3 and Linksys WUSB54G
Hi
I am using WUSB54G with SUSE 9.3 it's perfectly working.

First you should download the driver for following ralink tech .com :
director /drivers/Linux/RT25USB-SRC-V2.0.4.0.tar.gz

Just extract that files into you local directory :

example : RT2500 ..

mkdir -p /RT2500
tar -zxvf RT25USB-SRC-V2.0.4.0.tar.gz -C /RT2500

cd /RT2500
make
insmod rt2570.ko
(it will created network device rausb0)

ifcfg rausb0 up

more detail check on readme
====

If you want activate in every boot up, just put insmod command in
/etc/init.d/boot.local

add this line :
insmod /RT2500/rt2570.ko

=======================

enjoy
