Post how to install xp and linux both in a computer
right now i have windows xp and i want to make a partion and install linux .so that i can use xp and linux both

If you use a distro like Ubuntu, or SuSE, it will partition for you during installation. I had SuSE shrink my windows partition 50% and use the other 50% to make itself two other partitions - a main partition and a swap partition. It took all of 2 minutes to do and SuSE did all of the work...
You could also use QTParted, Partition Magic etc...
