Taking my A+ certification in about 5 days. Some of my fellow students have taken the test already, and said there were some UNIX/Linux questions on the test. Does anyone out there know of any practice test sites that would include UNIX/Linux questions? Or is there anyone that would know what part of these OS's that I should study before the test? Thanks for your help.

I was always under the impression that A+ was a hardware/tech support cert... but I could be wrong. I'll check it out when I have time (HAH!) and let you know more..

I'd say dont' worry about it though..

Well, just passed the test...so I guess its on to my Cisco Certification! WOO HOO!!! wish me luck.

P.S. Im pretty sure all the A+ certification will do is show an employer that you are fairly competent in the area of PC/OS repair and troubleshooting. However, once in the door, its up to the individual to prove him or herself.

Thanks all!

I'm a lil fuzzy on SCSI, but I'll guess C because I dont' think you can daisy chain internal and external SCSI. *shrug*

This is almost a trick question! I'll go with C, the operating system, because the question states that you're installing a 2nd drive, so you must already have one with an OS installed, and jumpered as the master.
