Screen resolution Problem
Hello, I recently downloaded Ubunto 6.10 and Knoppix 4.0. When booting either(from cd) on my Dell 2400 I end up with a screen resolution of 640 x 480 and no other choices to switch to. On my Gateway laptop I can switch between 4 different resolutions (1280 x800, 1040 x 768, 800 x 600 and 640 x 480)

I tried my Dell 3000 and Koppix still would only allow 640 x 480, Ubunto would never finish loading.

My question is how can I load either on my Dell 2400 and be able to select a screen resolution other than 640 x 480?
