Linux Performance Article
A three-pronged attack on performance
By Federico Kereki on July 12, 2007 (9:00:00 AM)

The article talks about:
1) Optimizing hard drive speed
2) Optimizing filesystem access
3) Optimizing application loading time

Results may vary with hardware and distro IMO, but worth effort if it helps to learn more about these aspects of performance which is not all there is about the topic.
