looking for a d/l manager
is there a download manager for Ubuntu Linux that has these features:

pause/resume functionality (able to remember URL or to be re-informed of a URL location for download)

can import d/l progress from another d/l mngr, like the default issued with ubuntu/Firefox?

Try FlashGot with DownThemAll extensions to Firefox.

Free Download Manager runs on Linux? I thought it was only for Windows as I understand it!

P.S. Free Download Manager is very good - I liked it when I ran it on WinXP Pro SP2.

I found using gwget is really easy and useful.

If your Linux distro has access to the repository, type "sudo apt-get install gwget". Easy nuff.
